Artist's Comments
This is a photo I took while on a short exchange to Japan in 2006. The temple is called 'Kinkakuji', 'kin' meaning 'gold' and 'ji' meaning 'temple'. This temple is MADE OF REAL GOLD. It is one of the most famous temples in Japan, and in my opinion is the best and most picturesque one, too. Well worth visiting! The japanese garden surrounding it looks beautiful, too.
